The workshop and competition were dedicated to honoring the life and passion of Thanvir Siddique Mazumder, an exceptional student of the JMC Department and a gifted photographer of AIUB. Marking his birthday, the event served not only as a photography workshop but also as a heartfelt tribute to a young talent whose creativity and enthusiasm continue to inspire the AIUB community. While memories of Thanvir remain cherished, his artistic legacy continues to motivate aspiring photographers and storytellers.

The program commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Niaz Majumdar, Senior Faculty Member of JMC Department. In his remarks, he highlighted the significance of photography as a powerful medium of communication and reflected on Thanvir's remarkable passion for visual storytelling.

The workshop provided students with practical exposure to portrait photography while encouraging them to observe, interpret, and document human expressions through visual narratives.

The event concluded with the announcement of the competition winners by Mr. Niaz Majumdar, followed by an award and prize distribution ceremony. Dr. Faria Sultana, Associate Dean of FASS; Professor Dr. Pradip Kumar Panday, Head of JMC Department; and faculty members of the department were also present among others.
